Ambitious Business Development Manager for Property Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a leading multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy, based in a collaborative central London office.
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll lead business development initiatives, build client relationships, and help shape the growth strategy of the business across public and private sector projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to win new projects and clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, local authorities, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Lead client meetings, pitch presentations, and tender submissions with compelling, client-focused proposals.
Collaborate with internal project and technical teams to identify opportunities and craft tailored solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector developments to inform strategy.
Support marketing and PR initiatives to enhance the consultancy’s profile and reach.
Track, monitor, and report on business development performance and pipeline.
Maintain client databases, case studies, and marketing materials to support growth initiatives.
About You
Proven experience in business development within construction, property, or professional services.
Strong network of contacts within public and private sector clients.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities proactively.
Confident managing client relationships at senior stakeholder level.
Experience supporting marketing, communications, or PR activities (desirable).
Knowledge of project lifecycles in construction, property development, or infrastructure.
Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, construction, or a related field.
