Bids & Business Development Manager for Award-winning Architecture Studio

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative Bids & Business Development Manager to join an award-winning AJ100-listed architectural practice, based in a collaborative studio in Southeast London.

Working closely with senior leadership and reporting to the Director of Business Development and Marketing, you’ll lead the coordination and production of high-quality bid submissions while also shaping and delivering engaging marketing, PR and communications activity across the practice.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage and write high-quality bid proposals and tender submissions

Work closely with partners and senior staff to shape compelling, client-focused responses

Support and deliver marketing, business development and PR initiatives

Manage events, awards submissions, client communications and relationship-building activity

Create and oversee e-communications, newsletters and social media content

Contribute to the development and delivery of the practice’s marketing strategy

Track, monitor and assess marketing and business development data

Maintain bid libraries, case studies and marketing materials

Support internal and external communications across the practice

 

About You

Proven experience coordinating and writing bid and tender submissions

Experience delivering marketing campaigns and PR initiatives

Background in the built environment, housing or architecture sector (essential)

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail

Experience producing e-communications and social media content

Experience supporting client relations and business development programmes

Event coordination or management experience

Ability to critically review content and contribute strategically

A strong visual eye and appreciation of architectural imagery

Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in English, marketing, communications, business or a related field

 

You’ll also be:

Highly organised and able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines

Collaborative and comfortable working with senior stakeholders

Confident communicating at partner and director level

Interested and engaged in housing, placemaking and architecture
