A progressive, design-led architecture and design practice based in London is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support and drive its long-term growth strategy. This is a permanent, senior appointment offering the opportunity to work at the intersection of design, strategy and commercial development. The role is ideally suited to a commercially astute professional with a background in architecture, communications and PR. You will bring strong industry insight alongside proven new business expertise.

As the successful candidate you will play a central role in identifying and securing new opportunities, leading complex bids and proposals, and building lasting relationships with UK and international clients and strategic partners. You will work closely with senior leadership and design teams, contributing to the wider strategic direction of the practice while ensuring a consistent and compelling market presence. Previous management skills are desirable as you will be managing a small internal team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with several years’ experience in business development, bids or new business within the architecture or design sector.
