Friendly Studio Administrator wanted for prestigious architecture practice
About the role:
An award-winning architectural practice is seeking a friendly Studio Administrator to join its expanding support team in London.
This is a diverse position at the heart of a busy creative studio, blending general administration with light PA support. You’ll act as a key representative of the practice to clients and collaborators, while ensuring daily operations run efficiently behind the scenes.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, proactive, and adaptable — someone who enjoys a mix of tasks, shows initiative, and is happy to pitch in wherever needed to assist the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Finance Manager with expense processing and receipt tracking
Maintaining accuracy of project management and HR databases (Rapport3)
Supporting studio facilities management and ordering supplies
Helping with company meetings, appraisals, and managing calendar invites
Organising QA meetings (ISO/WREN checklists) and aiding with project admin
Updating company policies, guidance documents, and staff information
Assisting with volunteering activities and studio-wide initiatives
Covering reception duties as needed and maintaining a professional front-of-house
Providing phone support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio
About you
1–2 years’ experience in a similar administrative or office support position
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
InDesign experience is advantageous
A proactive, dependable, and resourceful approach
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
