HR Manager

We are supporting a hugely successful and high-profile international Architecture and Design practice with their search for an experienced People/HR Generalist to join their London team. Reporting to their revered senior leadership, this role offers the opportunity to act as a trusted strategic partner while shaping an inclusive, high‑performing workplace across the full employee lifecycle.

You’ll advise leaders on organisational development, employee relations, retention, and broader people strategy, while managing day‑to‑day People- focussed operations. Responsibilities include managing recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, performance, and offboarding; ensuring compliance with UK employment and immigration law; leading ER matters in line with best practice and ACAS guidelines; overseeing compensation, benefits, GDPR compliance, and immigration processes; creating and delivering L&D initiatives; analysing people data and presenting insights.

We’re looking for someone with a strong experience in a broad HR generalist role within a creative or fast‑paced environment. CIPD Level 5+ is essential (Level 7 preferred). You’ll bring solid knowledge of UK employment and immigration law, with exposure to wider international employment frameworks a bonus. You should be data‑driven, influential, confident engaging with senior stakeholders, highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
