Motivated IT Support for Esteemed Architecture Studio (Part-Time)

Working closely with the studio’s IT Manager, you’ll become the go-to person for day-to-day support. From troubleshooting Macs to setting up equipment for new starters. If you’re hands-on, practical, and enjoy making IT feel approachable for everyone, this could be an ideal fit.

What you’ll do

Provide face-to-face and remote IT support, resolving issues with care and efficiency

Diagnose and fix problems on MacOS devices

Maintain hardware, manage updates, and keep clear, accurate inventory records

Troubleshoot basic network and Office 365 issues (Exchange, Teams, etc.)

Handle IT administration, stock, and consumables

Set up equipment for new starters, meetings, workshops, and presentations

Support and administer the studio’s Jamf environment

Keep software and hardware records up to date and well organised

Explain technical issues simply and clearly to non-technical colleagues

What we’re looking for

Proven IT support experience, ideally within a creative or design-focused environment

Strong working knowledge of MacOS and Office 365

Experience with Jamf, SME cloud storage (e.g., Dropbox), VOIP systems, or NAS is a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach

Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively

A personable, positive attitude and the ability to make IT approachable

An interest in design or creative industries is welcomed

Role details

Part-time, 3 days per week (Wednesday are required. The other days are flexible)
