New Business Manager (Mandarin-speaking)
A progressive, design-led London architecture practice is seeking a Mandarin-speaking New Business Manager to lead efforts primarily in the Asia (including the Arabian Peninsula), Africa and Oceania region. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to drive growth in international markets, working where design, strategy and communications converge.
The successful candidate will bring at least 3 years’ experience in bids or business development within architecture or the wider design sector. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, alongside strong writing, presentation, and client-facing skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and confidence with digital and social media platforms are also required. A strategic mindset, together with a proactive and personable approach, will ensure success in this high-profile role.
About You
Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experienced in bids or business development (minimum 4 years) within architecture, design, or a related sector.
Confident in client-facing situations, with the ability to build strong relationships across regions.
Strategic thinker who combines commercial awareness with creativity.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines with precision.
Collaborative, personable and motivated by helping secure new opportunities.
Skills
