Architecturally Experienced New Business Manager – Leading Design Studio
A progressive, design-led London architecture practice is seeking an Architecturally Experienced New Business Manager to lead strategic growth across Asia (including the Arabian Peninsula), Africa, and Oceania.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a business development professional with a background in architecture to help drive international expansion and shape the studio’s profile where design, strategy and communications meet.
The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in architecture — ideally with prior experience working within an architectural practice — combined with at least 3–4 years’ experience in bids or business development in the architecture or design sector. You’ll pair a deep understanding of architectural culture, process and language with strong writing, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, excellent communication skills, and confidence across digital and social media platforms are essential. A strategic, creative and proactive mindset will ensure success in this high-profile role.
About You
Background in architecture — ideally degree-qualified or with professional experience in an architectural practice.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in bids or business development within architecture or design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident in client-facing situations, with the ability to build strong relationships across international regions.
Strategic thinker who combines commercial awareness with architectural understanding and creativity.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines with precision.
Collaborative, personable and motivated by helping secure new opportunities.
