Organised, Creative Communications Coordinator for Award-Winning International Architecture Practice

This globally renowned architectural practice is looking for a talented Communications Coordinator to join its busy London-based communications team on a permanent, full-time basis.

In this varied and dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for handling press queries, preparing marketing content, and expanding coverage across a wide range of media outlets. From drafting press releases and monitoring media coverage to organising press briefings and coordinating events, you’ll be at the heart of promoting the studio’s award-winning work.

Working closely with the Head of Communications, you’ll also help develop brand films, prepare conference schedules and briefing notes, and maintain relationships with key journalists, stakeholders, and clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent writing skills, media experience, and a keen interest in architecture and design.

Key responsibilities include:

– Drafting press releases, managing press queries, and monitoring coverage

– Expanding media presence beyond the architectural press

– Organising press briefings, photo calls, and media events

– Coordinating events to promote new projects and practice initiatives

– Preparing conference schedules and briefing materials

– Supporting the creation of brand films and digital content

– Maintaining press archives and digital cuttings

– Liaising with journalists, stakeholders, and senior management

What we’re looking for:

– Excellent writing and editorial skills with experience producing high-quality copy

– Strong communication skills across print, online, broadcast, and social media

– Ability to manage press strategies, conferences, and media events

– Calm and confident approach under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset

– Strong IT skills, including InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and ideally Open Asset

– Proven ability to manage a busy and varied workload with attention to detail

– Experience in architecture or design communications is desirable but not essential
