Place will be attending Cyan Lines – 100 miles of nature in the city.
Launching on 10 September, Cyan Lines is a major transformative plan for Manchester. 100 miles of nature in the city.
CyanLines is an ambitious initiative to connect and revitalise Manchester’s green and blue spaces — its squares, pocket parks, rivers, canals, and viaducts — creating opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with nature and each other in more meaningful ways.
Over 100 miles of the CyanLines network will be developed, linking existing and planned linear parks, green corridors, and safe, traffic-free walking and cycling routes. Where connections are missing, new links across Manchester and Salford city centres will be created, extending into the wider boroughs of Greater Manchester.
CyanLines will be delivered through a series of coordinated projects, identified and shaped through collaboration. By uniting businesses, public sector bodies, charities, community organisations, and local residents, the aim is to build a network that reflects shared priorities and delivers lasting impact.
