First-ever listing of a building designed by David Chipperfield.
The former Camden studio of David Chipperfield Architects has been granted Grade II listed status, marking the first time a building by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect has received statutory heritage protection.
Its addition to the National Heritage List for England followed a request by The Twentieth Century Society, which submitted the application to Historic England after redevelopment plans surfaced to convert the modernist 1989 office into residential units.
