Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End, North London, has officially reopened to the public this month following a programme of restoration.
Make Architects has overseen the comprehensive architectural and interior refurbishment of this art deco landmark, reimagining it as a mixed-use destination that integrates cultural, residential, hospitality, co-working, and food and beverage facilities for both the local community and visitors.
Delivered in partnership with FEC UK and Historic England, the project has resulted in the removal of Hornsey Town Hall from the Heritage At Risk Register, ensuring its long-term preservation and securing its role as a community asset for future generations. Over the course of six years, Make has implemented a sensitive approach to adaptive re-use, creating dynamic and versatile spaces that serve diverse community needs while honouring and celebrating the building’s civic heritage.
