Modernist landmark Space House has been awarded Sustainable Renovation of the Year at the 2025 Dezeen Awards.
Led by Squire & Partners, the project has reconfigured the building into a future-ready workplace while retaining approximately 90% of its original structure. This considered retrofit and extension is estimated to have prevented around 10,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
The Grade II-listed brutalist building was originally designed by Richard Seifert and Partners in 1968.
