Work on Dunard Centre in Edinburgh is now underway: a £162 million main construction contract has been signed with Balfour Beatty. The hall will offer a 1,000-seat auditorium, a café/bar and multipurpose spaces behind the former RBS building on St Andrew Square, with completion expected in 2029.

The project aims to provide a permanent home for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and support the Edinburgh International Festival. Once open, the Centre is projected to attract 200,000 visitors annually and contribute around £266.9 million in gross value added over its first 20 years of operation.
