Five British architects have been shortlisted for the international Built by Nature Prize 2025 award celebrating excellence in timber construction.
The shortlist highlights 28 innovative timber buildings selected from nearly 400 global entries, with the UK emerging as the country with the highest number of nominated projects.
The five British projects nominated are:

Sands End Arts & Community Centre, Fulham, by Mae Architects
The Black and White Building, Hackney, by Waugh Thistleton
